Not Studying and Playful Son...Yet Accelerated!

I got a letter from the school last Friday of February 3, 2012, it was noted that I was invited for a meeting to discuss status of my son in the school. On Feb. 6, Monday I went to school without any thought in mind, just to compel in the meeting. I arrive a bit early during and sought a teacher on the post about the meeting, but he noted that he willl check the schedule. I just wait for his advise, but in few second a teacher approached in the lobby and stated that this was a meeting for accelerated pupils. Oh gosh! My heart beat fast..."My son is accelerated?" I thought and I can't believe because in his pre school time I seldom teach him (due to my busy sched in work and school) and he rarely studies too.

I was in the room now, and the principal started to call children names who were accelerated. I kept handy the meeting invitation letter, thinking that if Zeb's name (my 5 year old son nickname) is not mention, I will present to them the letter I received. Finally Zeb was called, here I am floating and I cant believe that my son was accelerated. I even told one of my closest parent of Zeb classmate to pinch me, because really I was surprised.
